Ah Tom – I’ll miss you mate. I remember those summer days going for ‘nets’ and playing ‘bums-up’ in Abbots and Balls Park. We’d bowl, bat and kick-about all day – not a care in the world. When the sun went down we’d build a fire and sit around long into the night. Tom would always pull out the most amazing pack lunches – yes, full of vinegary snacks and home-baked sandwiches – and he’d munch away. I was always envious of them! My parent’s cats will miss him. As suggested in the summary, he had a special talent when it came to the felines! He’d make this noise – half meow and half I don’t know what – and the cats would come running to him. It seemed to work on any cat. I don’t know how many times we’d walk down the street and a random cat would be spotted and 30 seconds later it’d be laid-out in front of Tom offering itself up for strokes! Ah, it is such a sad loss of a creative, imaginative and talented person. But at least Tom won’t be forgotten – nobody can forget Thomas Morgan! Rest in peace, mate. Love to you and your family.
